The exhibition title “Aw: Re: Wtr: Aw: Title” by Anina Brisolla and Lukasz Furs refers to a dialogic process and at the same time describes a method. In fact, it is quite succinctly the subject line of an email exchange in which the artists discuss the title and content of the joint exhibition. Nevertheless, this back and forth playing can be viewed as a method of their art: Similar in their approach, both Brisolla and Furs work with techniques of sampling and transfer between analog media and digital formats. Both of their approaches follow this dialogic principle of answering, playing back and forwarding in the expression of the formal correspondence.
